This was the biggest group of soldiers to come home that Ive ever seen. Scott says that there were about 350 soldiers to come with this group. Lined up, as you can see, they went from one end of the buil!ding all the way to the other! It was crazy, but awesome!
When we got to our truck, a little girl gave Scott a brownie with a note. She was so cute! Her note said 'Thak You' and there was a drawing inside!

Updates on Scott
Sorry its been a while. Not much has been going on. They have been talking about moving to a new area, but today Scott said that they might not be moving. The area isn't ready for all those soldiers. Scott has a 'Platoon Mother' sending him packages. So he has been getting a lot of stuff. This 'Platoon Mother' is a program where people are set up with a soldier and send them whatever they need. And stuff they don't! But they just pass it on to the next person. I think he emails her to keep in contact. There is another person that he is in contact with. I think its kinda like the 'Platoon Mother' thing. He is a Vet and jokes around a bit about the Army with Scott. Scott likes him and wants to keep him as a pin-pal when he gets out. Scott's doing pretty good. I have been able to hear from him a lot lately. He has started going to the gym again. He likes going. That's about it with Scott. Things here have been a little boring. Not too bad though. Ive just been working a lot to keep busy. We had a tornado he pretty close a couple weeks ago. Kinda scary! Good thing we have a basement! Well Ill keep you posted if anything happens. Love all!

Oh My Goodness!
Hey everyone. Sorry its been a while since I posted last. Scott is doing just fine. Not much happening for him. That's a good thing. They are still talking about moving but still don't know much else. The dates keep changing. That's the Army for ya. He is doing good though. He has a schedule right now that he really likes. He is able to get everything done that he wants to in one day. He has a work-out that he is doing and he really enjoys it. It keeps him busy. That is pretty much all the is going on there. He got to call Chandler and Katii a couple Saturdays ago. Katii was beside herself. She was so excited she was bouncing off the walls. Chandler too.
So I have to tell you, I just finished the Twilight series. And, Oh My Goodness! I have not been able to stop talking or thinking about it. These are the best books I have ever read. I have never been a reader. I never liked it. I have never found a book that I wanted to read again. Half way through the first book I was excited to finish them so I COULD read them again. I don't know how I did it but I passed book reports in high school with out finishing the books. But these book I would gladly give a report on. In detail! Just so I could tell someone else about them. I really didn't care for high school and didn't really do my homework. But when I started reading these books, things changed. I actually set my alarm, two mornings in a row, so I could get some reading in before I ran my errands. Now that's just crazy! I also have never been a fast reader. I was finished with the first book in a day and a half. The second book was two and a half days. And the third took me a week. I would have been done with it faster, but when I started the third one it was at the same time I started my new job. So that took eight hours out of my day that I couldn't read. I also had to put it down like a hour before bed time. Because of some of the action that I was reading one night, I didn't get much sleep. I learned my lesson on that one. So, Kimi, you have to read these books. You still have some time before the fourth one comes out. I will be reading them again before the next one gets here. I'm so glad that Momma D. was able to finally push them on me. I mean, a day and a half, I have never been able to read that fast. That has to say something. Well I hope all that have read these books have enjoyed them as much a I did. I think that the setting, taking place in WA., made it more vivid for me. I could actually see and I knew what the writer was talking about. Anyway, I hope all of you are doing well. I'm so excited to be an Auntie again!
